Stage Rehearsals | December 5th
The week before the recital, we have an extra practice on stage in order for everyone to be prepared for the big day! Please make sure to be at practice so that you don’t miss anything important! At stage rehearsal, dancers will have the chance to see what it's like backstage, practice where they stand on stage for their formation, practice getting on and off the stage, as well as do their dance one or two times. Stage rehearsals are also very important for the technical crew at the auditorium to make sure lighting, backdrops, sound, and cues are all set for the next day. There's so many details that go into a dance that we must make sure are set before the final performance!

Above all else, stage rehearsal is for the dancers to build confidence and set their minds at ease before performing. For many dancers, new and old alike, the thought of performing can create nerves or jitters. By experiencing the lights, music, and view from the stage without the extra pressure of costumes and a large audience, dancers are able to gain the extra push of confidence they may need before the actual recital.

Stage rehearsals will take place on Friday, December 5th at Pittsburg Memorial Auditorium. Please use the front doors that face Pine Street to enter the auditorium.

Dancers need to arrive at least 15 minutes before their stage time in order for us to stay on schedule. ALL DANCERS need to be there for the Final practice. We will also have announcements and a short Q&A during this time. Once a dancer is finished with all of their dances, they are free to leave.

Please wear your dance costumes (this is different this year), correct shoes, hair up, and stage make-up.

Stage rehearsals are mandatory for all dancers performing in the recital.
